Tasha Trust Story
TASHA TRUST is a charitable organization dedicated to community welfare and child development. It was formally established on August 8, 2016, under the Trust Act of 1882, driven by the vision and humanitarian spirit of its founder, Mr. Tariq Ikram. Motivated by a deep commitment to uplift vulnerable segments of society, especially orphans, Mr. Ikram laid the foundation for an institution that embodies care, dignity, and opportunity for underprivileged children.
The founding members of TASHA TRUST include Mr. Tariq Ikram and his immediate family members: Mrs. Aisha Tariq, Mr. Ali Tariq, Mr. Hassan Tariq, and Ms. Sana Aziz. Together, they envisioned a holistic model of child care that goes beyond basic needs, aiming to nurture, educate, and empower children for a better future.
The head office of TASHA TRUST is based in Karachi, Pakistan, while its core operational hub, known as Saiya Homes, is located in Jhelum. Notably, Saiya Home began its operations in February 2014, two years prior to the formal registration of TASHA TRUST, reflecting the founders’ longstanding dedication to humanitarian service.
Saiya Homes serves as the flagship initiative of the Trust and operates as a full-fledged orphanage. It provides a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for orphaned and vulnerable children. The home emphasizes not only shelter and sustenance but also education, emotional well-being, and character development.
TASHA TRUST, through Saiya Homes, continues to serve as a beacon of hope, striving to create a future where every child, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to live a life of dignity, security, and promise.

Sponsor a Child
The sponsorship scheme is an excellent way for the community to share in the responsibility of providing for these vulnerable children and ensuring that they get a fair chance in life. Sponsors may correspond with their sponsored children and also visit them.
The amount for complete sponsorship of a child is Rs. 40,000 per month. Payment from abroad can be made direct to the Saiya Homes Office or through Cheques & Bank Drafts. All Donations are tax-exempt.

Red Crescent Training
In collaboration with the Red Crescent, children at Saiya Home received essential first aid and emergency response training. This initiative aimed to equip them with life-saving skills.
Land Acquisition
